Warranty Policy - Ivanhurst Motor Company

At Ivanhurst Motor Company, customer satisfaction is our top priority. Every second-hand vehicle purchased from us comes with a three-month warranty or 3000 miles, whichever comes first. This is designed to give you peace of mind by covering specific repairs and maintenance issues that may arise during this period.

If you experience an issue with your vehicle, you must contact Ivanhurst Motor Company before taking any action. We will advise you on the next steps, and our instructions must be followed for the warranty to remain valid. Inside your New Vehicle Folder, you will find an AA leaflet stapled to the front page. You must register for this service to activate your twelve months of breakdown cover. We also recommend upgrading this service so that, in the event your vehicle requires recovery, you can take full advantage of their assistance.

We will always request that vehicles be recovered to Ivanhurst Motor Company. If you have not registered for the AA service and require us to recover your vehicle, we can arrange collection at £2+VAT per mile from the postcode SS11 7QY. This fee must be paid prior to collection.

If you choose to take your vehicle to a garage other than Ivanhurst Motor Company, we reserve the right to reject the work unless prior authorisation has been given. Please note that our warranty does not provide nationwide coverage.

Our three-month warranty covers the following components: Air Conditioning and Heating | Clutch | Cooling System | Drive Train | Fuel System| Electrical Systems | ECU and Computers | Engine |Camshaft Drive Belts | Steering |Transmission |Turbocharger and Supercharger Units | Ignition System | Exhaust After-Treatment | Gearboxes | Oil Seals and Gaskets | Suspension.

Our three-month warranty does not cover the following components: Regular Maintenance Services | Oil changes | Batteries | Tyres | Brake Pads | Wiper Blades | Filters, or Other Wear and Tear Items |Wheel Sensors | Damage Caused By Accidents, Misuse or neglect | Any Modifications or Repairs Carried Out By Non- VAT-Registered Garages |Cosmetic items | Paint | Upholstery

Warranty Exclusions

Commercial Usage Exceptions: The warranty excludes failures resulting from hire, taxi or off-road use unless agreed in writing at the point of sale.

External Influences: Failures caused by incorrect fuel use, contamination, overheating, insufficient oil, or failure to maintain correct fluid levels are excluded.

Terms & Conditions: The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and lasts for three months or 3000 Miles, whichever comes first. It is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. All claims must be made within the warranty period. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
